Initial Configuration Using NetVision
Programming Network Information
You can use the following procedure to program the network information into the ES7510.
Note: If you have multiple RocketLinx managed switches that you want to program sequentially, you can use
the following procedure and shift-click to highlight multiple switches. Enter an appropriate IP address
range, subnet mask, and click Apply.
1.
If you have not done so, start NetVision.
2.
Click the Discovery button, after five seconds the ES7510 should be listed.
3.
Highlight the ES7510, double-click the IP Address field and enter a desired IP address.
4.
Double-click the Netmask field and enter a desired subnet mask.
5.
Select the IP Settings --> Modify IP menu item to apply the IP address and Netmask changes to the
ES7510. Optionally, you can right-click and click Change IP.
6.
Click Yes.
Note: Most menu items are available by right-clicking your mouse.Many of these functions can also be done
using the web user interface or through the Command Line Interface.
