Initial Configuration Using NetVision

Creating a Backup Configuration File

You can use NetVision to save the current configuration stored in the ES7510 flash using a Windows XP
system.

Note: For operating systems newer than Windows XP, use TFTP with the web user interface (

on Page 51) or the CLI (

Backup and Restore

on Page 140).

The configuration file can be reloaded on the ES7510 or used load the same settings onto another ES7510.
The ES7510configuration file is a standard text file. You can open the file with Word or Notepad. You can also
modify the file, add/remove the configuration settings, and then restore the file back to the ES7510.

Highlight the ES7510 for which you want to create a backup file.

Right-click and select Backup.

Click the Browse button and navigate to the location where you want to
save the configuration file.

Enter the backup file name and click Open.
