Use the Fluid Menu to configure the flow meter for use with common gases, liquids and
steam. Your flow meter is pre-programmed at the factory for your application’s process
fluid.

Reference Richard W. Miller, Flow Measurement Engineering Handbook (Third Edition,
1996), page 2-75 for definition and use of the Goyal-Doraiswamy equation and page 2-76 for
the definition and use of the API 2540 equation. Also, see Appendix B for Fluid Calculation
equations.

The units of measurement used in the Fluid Menu are preset and are as follows:
Mole Weight = lbm/(lbm•mol), CRIT PRESS = psia, CRIT TEMP = °R, Density = kg /m3 and
Viscosity = cP (centipoise).
