When the optional TC/SYNC card is installed to the unit, you can set the following items for
synchronizing the unit to a film machine.

1) Resetting the current film position to the start position
2) Editing the film start time
3) Setting the number of pulses per frame
4) Setting the film leader length and film size

Select the "Bi-Phase setup" menu item and press the [ENTER/YES] key.

The display goes down to the Bi-phase setup screen, as show below.
On this screen, you can make settings for synchronizing the unit to a film machine.

<Note>:

The "Bi-Phase setup" menu item setting is effective only when the optional

TC/SYNC card is installed. When it is not installed, "Void! No TC Card" is shown and
you cannot make setting.

Resetting the current film position to the start time

This item is used to reset the current position to the start time.

In the Bi-phase setup screen, the following items are shown.

The current bi-phase position.

The start position of bi-phase time.

The number of pulses per frame.

The film leader length and film size.

While "ResetCounter" is highlighted, press the [ENTER/YES] key.

The current position shown on the screen is set to the start time which is shown in the
"Edit Start Position" field.
In the screen example below left, the current film position is "00h03m00s00sf" and the
start time is "00h10m00s00sf". If you press the [ENTER/YES] key, the current film
position is reset to "00h10m00s00sf" as shown below right.
By operating above after editing the start time (see the next page), you can reset the film
position to the desired start time.
