Status information

The current settings of menu items are shown.

The current clock reference setting is shown (the default is "INT").
You can set the clock reference via the quick setup mode (see page 47)
or the "Sync Clock" menu item of the "TC SETUP" menu (see page
127). If the optional TC/SYNC card is installed and the unit does not lock
to the external clock reference, the selected option flashes quickly.

The current time code frame rate setting is shown (the default is "25").
You can set the time code frame rate via the quick setup mode (see
page 46) or the "Frame rate" menu item of the "TC SETUP" menu (see
page 127).

The current FS and bit length setting is shown (the default is "48/24").
You can set the FS and bit length via the quick setup mode (see page
47) or the "Record FS&Bit" menu item of the "SYS SETUP" menu (see
page 117).

The current input mode setting is shown (the default is "Analog").
You can set the input mode via the quick setup mode (see page 45) or
the "Select Input" menu item of the "SYS SETUP" menu (see page 119).

If the input mode is set to "DIGITAL", the currently locked channel(s) (1
through 8) is (are) shown. If no channel is shown even though the input
mode is set to "DIGITAL", the analog input is selected.

The FS, bit length and track mode of the audio file currently being played
back are shown.
While playing back an audio file, the actual FS, bit length and track
mode of the audio file take priority to the associated menu item settings.

If the current audio file is protected, the " " icon is shown (for details
about how to release the protection, see page 153).

The current time code recording mode is shown (the default is "Run").
You can set the time code recording mode via the quick setup mode
(see page 47) or the "Gen mode" menu item of the "TC SETUP" menu
(see page 128).

The current pull up/down setting is shown (the default is "0.0%").
You can make the pull up/down setting via the quick setup mode (see
page 48) or the "Pull Up/Down" menu item of the "SYS SETUP" menu
(see page 118).

The current setting of the number of recording tracks is shown (the de-
fault is "8 TRK").
You can make the pull up/down setting via the quick setup mode (see
page 48) or the "Record Tracks" menu item of the "SYS SETUP" menu
(see page 117).
