Device type setting (Selection of the DV824 device type)
You can select between "DVD" (default) and "BVW-75".
Use the [MENU] dial to select the desired device type and press the [ENTER/YES]
key to confirm your selection.
DVD The device type is set to DV824.
BVW-75 The device type is set to BVW-75.
Sync play setting (On/Off selection of Sync play)
You can select whether or not the unit locks to the incoming video reference when
it receives the PLAY command via RS-422 and plays.
Use the [MENU] dial to select "On" or "Off" and press the [ENTER/YES] key to
confirm your selection. When connecting an editor to the unit, select "On".
Off The sync play does not function. The unit does not lock to the incoming video reference.
On The sync play functions. The unit locks to the incoming video reference.
Editor preset setting (Global setting for editor connection)
You can preset the DV824 to work with an editor in the best condition by setting
this item appropriately.
Use the [MENU] dial to select between "Video" and "Lynx" and press the [ENTER/
YES] key to confirm your selection.
Video The unit is preset to be controlled by a video editor.
Lynx The unit is preset to be controlled by the Lynx synchronizer.
3) After making settings appropriately, press the [EXIT/NO] key (or the [STOP/HOME]
key) to exit the MENU mode.
