Here you specify whether your TV set is a
• PAL
or
• NTSC deviceset.
Select the screen display mode here:
• for TV type “4:3”: “Pan & Scan” or “Letter-Box”
• for TV type “16:9”: “Automatic” or “Always 16:9”
• for TV type “HDMI”: “Automatic” or “Always 16:9”
DISPLAY FORMAT
Choose whether the volume setting is to be applied to all channels here (selection: Off), or whether you
want to set the volume for each channel separately (selection: On).

You can use the cursor buttons (
 
) to select and arrange the position where the menus are
displayed on the TV screen. The receiver displays are then positioned on-screen as you specifi ed.
Press the button to access the “Time Setup” menu. Depending on the setting (“Manual” or “Auto”),
you see the following:

TV STANDARD
Here select the TV's picture format. Either
• 4:3 format,
• 16:9 format or
• HDMI
TV TYPE
Here you set the picture resolution that will be sent to your TV set from the HDMI connection. Either
- 1080i
- 576p or
- 720p
