The “Current Heads (Y, M, C, 1, 2, 3, 4)” view represents the alignment of the heads as
they are currently entered. This is just an overview of all heads and how they are
aligned. Do not attempt to align the heads using this view.
The “Color Horizontal Head-to-Head Calibration” checks the alignment of the nozzles
horizontally and allows corrections when required. Just enter the value below the set of
lines that are correctly aligned. Be careful that you are aligning the correct color by
observing the K (black) C (cyan), M (magenta), Y (yellow), 1, 2, 3, and 4 (1-4 are
assigned colors) on the right side of the plot.
The “Color Vertical Head-to-Head Calibration” checks the alignment of the nozzles
vertically and allows corrections when required. Just enter the value below the set of
lines that are correctly aligned. Be careful that you are aligning the correct color by
observing the K (black), C (cyan), M (magenta), Y (yellow), 1, 2, 3, and 4 (1-4 are
assigned colors) on the right side of the plot.
To perform the Color Calibration:
1. Select “Utility Menu” from the Main Menu. This brings up the Utility Menu as
shown in Figure 3-19.
