OUT Zone
In this zone, the OUT point of the inserted train can be defined. It can have one of
the following values:
• unknown
• a fixed T/C value
• a value calculated based on a duration from the IN point
Unknown
The OUT point of the element is not known, it is an open end element. The
element will be played out with the defined delay until an OUT point is entered.
T/C OUT
When the window opens, the T/C OUT field is filled with the on-air T/C of the
preview panel (if it has a value) or with the T/C of the channel associated to the
on-air panel if there is no value in the preview pane. If there is no value in either
of the previous cases then a ‘00:00:00:00’ will be shown.
To manually define a T/C, click in the T/C OUT field and type in a value.
To grab a value use the transport controls on the preview or on-air channel to
move to a different value and then grab the required value in the T/C OUT field by
clicking the Grab button.
Duration
To manually define a T/C, click in the Duration field and type in a value. When the
operation is validated by clicking on the OK button, the element is inserted in the
list before or after the selected element (depending on the Insert mode in play-
list parameters in the section “Insert Mode in Play-List”, on page 154).

If a live or delayed element is present in the play-list the contextual menu changes
to reflect this by showing Modify LIVE or Delay, when this option is selected, the
same window as Insert LIVE or Delay is displayed but containing the information
for the selected element that has previously been entered.
The element can then modified and the new information validated by clicking on
the OK button or cancelled by selecting the cancel button.

OMMENT
Comment lines are useful in identifying certain transitions or events in a play-list
and to improve the clarity of a complex play-list by adding information to it.
When a right-click is made within the Edit Play-List area a contextual box is
opened displaying several options:
Insert Comment is displayed in the menu if the selected element is not a
comment line.
Edit Comment is displayed in the menu if the selected element is a comment line.
