4.4 CHANNEL MEDIA PANE
The Channel Media pane provides the basic functions to load and view clips and
record trains. The screenshot below shows the Channel Media pane.
It includes a video display if the video display has been activated and linked to an
A/V board in the IP Director Configuration module of the Remote Installer.

This button can be activated to show that the loaded channel is on air. When
activated, the button will flash red. This informs other users that they should not
perform any action on the on-air channel.
The On-Air button can be activated in two ways:
•
The operator directly clicks on the On-Air button in the Channel Media pane of
the Control Panel.
•
The operator fires an external a GPI trigger to which the Tally (On Air) action is
associated. This will automatically activate the On-Air button on the Control
Panel. The actions linked to the GPI keys are defined in the GPI and Auxiliary
Track window available from the IP Director main menu Tools > Settings.
