7. Print heater (fixes the ink on to the media).

8. Front heater (dries the ink and stabilizes the printed image).

WARNING!

Do not touch heater surfaces in the media path. This may cause burns.

Heater temperature settings

Heater temperatures are preset automatically for the media type that is selected during media loading.
Under normal operating conditions you do not need to set the temperature.

Use the printer front panel only when you need to make fine adjustments to the heater temperature.

On/off setting: use the

SHIFT

key when the heater is selected.

Heater selection: use the left key or right key to select the front (F), print (P) or Rear (R) heater.

Temperature setting: use the up key or down key to set the temperature for the selected heater.

You can turn the heater ON while the printer is not printing by pressing and holding the
<keyboard>OK</keyboard>key for 2 seconds.

You can turn the heater OFF while the printer is not printing by pressing and holding the

CANCEL

key

for 2 seconds.

Front panel display (when the heater is turned on):

Upper line: preset temperature for each heater

Lower line: current temperature for each heater

Front panel display (when the heater is turned off):

Upper line: OFF for each heater

Lower line: current temperature for each heater

A “+” sign indicates that the heater is warming up. The default temperature range is set between 15 °C and
55 °C.
