Settings for Automatic Mounting

If you specify the name of a logical device file of an HDLM device at host

startup, an HDLM-managed device is automatically mounted in the same way

as if you had specified the name of a logical device file of a SCSI device. To

mount an HDLM-managed device automatically, you need to edit the /etc/
fstab file. In this file, you can specify the name of the logical device file of

the SCSI device and the mount point of its disk. After this file has been

created, the specified HDLM-managed device is mounted automatically when

Linux is started. The Linux functionality that adds LABEL= to a SCSI device is

not supported in HDLM. Do not use this functionality.

The following subsections describe the tasks that are required for using

HDLM.
