Execute the dlmchname utility with the -o parameter to create a device name

replacement definition file (/etc/opt/DynamicLinkManager/
dlmchname.conf). An example of executing the command is as follows:

3585011299 0090 sddlmac

3585011299 0091 sddlmab

3585011299 0092 sddlmaa

To change an HDLM device name, edit only the third field, which indicates the

HDLM device name.

When several digits are output before storage system serial numbers,

ignore them.

dlmmkinitrd Utility for Supporting a Boot Disk

This utility creates an initial RAM disk image file for using an HDLM device as

a boot disk.

Note that, for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6, the dlmmkinitrd utility is not

installed. To create an initial RAM disk image file in Red Hat Enterprise Linux

6, use the dracut command.
