Check the shock absorbers after every 2 million strokes for:
ć oil leakage
ć hard knocking
ć the shock absorber head remains in the retracted end position / moves out
very slowly.
ć loud noises.

Replace the shock absorber if one of the above−mentioned signs of wear is
apparent, at the latest after every 10 million strokes (dismantling see chapter
Dismantling and repairs).

Check whether lubrication/testing must be carried out more frequently.
This may be necessary if:
ć the temperature loading is high
ć there is excessive dirt
ć there are fat−solvent fluids or fumes in the vicinity.

Switch off the power supplies:
ć Operating voltage
ć Compressed air
Replacing the shock absorbers:
1. Exhaust the system and the HMP−...Ă.
2. Remove the housing cover.
3. Unscrew the locking nut of the shock
absorber.
4. Mark the position of the adjusting sleeve.
5. Loosen the locking screws
