Use the motorized coarse feed to rapidly move
the specimen head towards or away from the
knife.
Carefully observe the specimen
when moving it towards the cutting
edge to avoid an accidental colli-
sion of the specimen with the knife
edge, which can cause severe dam-
age to both knife and specimen.
