Changing Token Passwords

The Set Token Password command on the System and Rack menus can be

used to change the token password for the system or a selected rack. When the

command is executed, the following dialog box will be displayed:

The following fields must be entered:
User Name:

A user name of up to 30 characters. The default is

the name entered in the AutoMax Setup.

Old Password:

The old password. Each character will be echoed as an

asterisk (*). This information is required to verify that the user is

authorized to change the password. If the old password was

<null>, this field will not appear and any user may change the

password.

New Password: A password of up to 15 characters. Each character will be

echoed as an asterisk (*).

Verification:

The new password again. Each character will be echoed as an

asterisk (*). This field is required to make sure the user typed

the new password correctly. If this entry does not match the

new password, the screen will display an error message and

the cursor will be returned to the New Password field.
