Step 5.
Install the New Regulator Board in the Drive
Step 5.1. Remove the new Regulator board from its anti-static wrapper. Make sure
the jumper settings on the new board match those on the old board. See
figure 10.4 for jumper locations.
Step 5.2. Align the two holes at the bottom of the Regulator board with the two plastic
posts. Press the Regulator board toward the drive until the posts appear
through the holes. Click into place.
Step 5.3. Connect the Regulator board to the drive using the two 3.5 mm screws.
Step 5.4. Reconnect the Regulator board to the Power Board by sliding the Regulator
board ribbon cable into the Power Module Feedback connector on the
Regulator board.
Step 6.
Drives with Option Boards Only: Install the Option Board in the Drive
Step 6.1. Align the key on the connector of the option board ribbon cable with the key
on the Regulator board connector. Press the ribbon cable connector in until
it locks into position.
Step 6.2. Attach the option board to the drive using the screws provided.
