20 In-game Operation
5.1 Viewing Player Stats
StatVision automatically selects the current batter and pitcher, but there are several ways to
select other players and view their stats at any time.
Batter Modes
Users can select from three different batter modes. StatVision automatically updates these
modes as the batting order changes.
To select batter modes, click Last Batter, Current Batter, or Next Batter. The selected mode
will be highlighted in green (Figure 20).
Team Rosters
If the statistics of a player other than the last, current, or next
batter are needed, StatVision lets users search the team roster and
bring up any other player’s statistics. The team roster will display
all of the players and their numbers that are on the team’s roster
for that particular game.
The roster separates players into two categories:
 The Bullpen lists only the team’s pitchers.
 The Bench lists every player on the team.
Note: If the bullpen list is empty, make sure that the players
have their positions set to pitcher in the DakStats roster.
To view a team roster:
1. Click the team’s logo, and the team’s roster will appear
(Figure 21).
2. Select a player from the roster by clicking the player’s name.
StatVision will display the selected player’s batting/pitching statistics in the Fixed
and/or Situational Categories.
Viewing Fielder Statistics
To view statistics about players that are currently playing on the
field, running the bases, or batting, simply click the player’s name
shown on the baseball diamond image (Figure 22).
