If you are unable to connect to the E911 Response Server 9145 with the Administration

program, double-check the settings in the Connect to Server window. The Server Host: can

be a network name or an IP address. Make sure that the network name or IP address is

correct. If you suspect the network name or IP address is incorrect, you can try pinging the

network name or address and see if the device responds. If you don’t get a response, check

with your local IT support.
The Port: number by default is 5992. If this port is already in use, you may have to use

another port number. If the port number must be changed, contact Teo Technical Support.
The default Username and Password are both admin. The admin account cannot be

removed.

The following sections are intended to isolate 911 call processing problems. Since 911 call

flow is from the PBX to the 9145 via ISDN-PRI, and then from the 9145 to the Telco

Network, the first interface to verify is the ISDN-PRI connection from the PBX. Several

possible problems can exist along the 911 call processing path.

The PBX is not routing 911 Calls to the dedicated ISDN-PRI port.

The PBX ISDN connection is not functioning correctly because of configuration

problems.

The 9145 does not recognize the call as “911” because of misconfiguration.

The Telco Network ISDN-PRI connection is not functioning correctly.

There is a component or circuit failure in the 911 call path.

Always verify that the 9145 is powered up and that the System Status indicator is Flashing

Green before any troubleshooting is attempted. Verify that all 9145 front panel status

indicators are showing normal or idle operation before proceeding.
