PSAP (Public Safety Answering Point) – The physical location where the 911 Call Takers

answer calls and provide emergency services operations. Emergency calls and the

associated 911 network circuitry terminate or end at the PSAP location.

Remote Notification – Refers to the reporting/notifying capabilities of the Teo E911

Response Server 9145 when it is programmed to make a connection to a routable

network reporting device. Remote reporting devices include Local Area Networks

(LAN) displays, alpha pagers and serial printers with modems attached. 911 call

activity and system alarm messages are sent to these devices for alerting and

response purposes.

Station Table – The database created or imported on a Personal Computer (PC) using the

Administration program that contains the PBX number to ANI translations. This is

sent to the system and is used in 911 call processing to translate PBX station numbers

(extensions) to ANI(s) for use in the 911 network. The Station Table also contains the

user-entered inside location and directions for each PBX station number.
