2. R) Call Profile Ref—Select an identifying reference number that
is distinct from any previously used IDs for the selected port.
(Use the Modify option to change existing call profiles.) You
may choose a number from 1 through 48 for this reference ID
number. If you do not choose a number, the QPRI will select
the lowest available reference ID.
3. D) Call Direction—Select whether the call profile is for
incoming calls, outgoing calls, or both. “Deleted” invalidates
the call profile. “Both” is recommended.
4. O) No. of Own Digits—Number of digits in your phone number.
Enter the number of digits in your phone number (1 through
15). If the number is smaller than the length of an existing
string associated below, you will be prompted to confirm
whether or not you want to truncate the string. If the response
to the prompt is Y, the associated string wil be truncated;
otherwise, the length will not be accepted.
5. N) Own Call Number—Enter your own phone number (The
number from which you are calling). If the entered string
exceeds the associated length as specified above, the string
will be truncated.
For outgoing calls, your “Own Call Number” is the CLID (calling
line ID) or station ID (SID).
For incoming calls, your “Own Call Number” is the DNIS (dialed
number information service).
Talk to your own telephone department or carrier to decide
how to assign the call number.
