Once started, the recovery process will be monitored, with the screen updated periodically,
until recovery is complete.

If one or more partitions are bad on one drive then you can rebuild the whole drive by
depressing the RAID Recover Drive button (This button is not displayed if all partitions
are OK.) This will reformat the drive , recreate the partitions, resync the partitions from
the other drive, and update the boot loader.

Note:

DO NOT UNPLUG THE DRIVE WHILE POWERED ON AND RUNNING.

Although the drives are specified as “hot swappable” they should not be removed while
in use (online). At the top of each drive there is a button to take the drive offline. Once
offline, it can be safely removed from the unit, even with the power still on. (The RAID
Status panel will indicate that all the partitions are OFFLINE.) It is then possible to
replace the drive with an identical drive. After replacing the drive, click RAID Recovery
for that drive, and it will be rebuilt from the other drive. NOTE, do not do RAID Recover
before re-inserting the drive, as this may lock up the RAID subsystem and require a
complete reboot to recover. RAID recovery is automatically done for any faulty partitions
at boot time.
