Using the 8900NET GUI
Acquiring Module Software Updates
Software field upgrade packages for modules are available from the Grass
Valley Customer Service FAQ site and the public ftp site. For an overview
of software updating capabilities, refer to the
Compatibility Matrix on
page 85 .
You may connect to the Grass Valley FAQ site to access the latest module
and free NetConfig software and subscribe to software updates automati-
cally at the following URL:
http://www.grassvalley.com/downloads
This link will direct you to the Customer Service FAQ database where all
software downloads are distributed. The information provided here is the
most up-to-date. Using this link is recommended so that when new ver-
sions of software are released, you are notified by E-mail. It also provides
information on module software updating, including a list of the modules
that do not support remote upgrades and require the cable kit.
