You can magnify the image and focus precisely with manual focus.

Set the lens’s focus mode switch
to <MF>.

Turn the lens focusing ring to focus
roughly.

Display the magnifying frame.

Press the <u> button.

The magnifying frame will appear.

You can also tap [1] on the screen to
magnify the image.

Move the magnifying frame.

Use <9> to move the magnifying
frame to the position where you want
to focus. You can also tap it to move
it.

Pressing <0> or <L> button will
return the magnifying frame to the
screen’s center.

Magnify the image.

Each time you press the <u> button,
the magnification of the image will
change in the following sequence:

While in magnified view, you can use
<9> or tap the directional wedges
displayed on the top, bottom, left, and
right of the screen to scroll around the
magnified image.
