Creating a New Queue

New queues can be registered and various settings can be set. To create new queues, select
[New] on the Queue Management screen. A window similar to the following will appear.

Use the following information in this section to create a new Queue.

Operating buttons

The following buttons are used for operation on the queue properties screen.

Previous: Displays the information on a queue above those currently displayed in the
queue list. If there is no corresponding queue, this button is grayed out and disabled.

Next: Displays information on the queue below those displayed in the queue list at present.
This button is grayed out to become inoperable if there is no corresponding queue.

Close: Cancels the operation and closes the screen.

Apply: Reflects the information without closing the screen.

OK: Sets up the information and closes the screen.

The contents of information modified on the queue properties screen are applied to the queued
job after the modifying operation. Already queued jobs are not modified.

New Queue Tab menus

The following tab menus are displayed on the properties screen.

Properties: Sets the basic queue information.

I/O Process: Sets the I/O process mode.

Paper Setting: Sets the information on the paper to be used.

Color: Sets the information on the color process.

Data Format: Sets each data format. There are four data formats as follows.

To use each data format, the respective option is necessary. Consult with your Xerox Sales
representative for the option.

PS: Displays the PS (PostScript) format properties.

PDF: Displays the PDF properties.

IPDS: Displays the IPDS properties.
