New Queue Properties

This section explains how to set the queue Properties tab. The screen is for registering basic
queue information.

Explanation is given for an example of screen with PS set as the data format.

The items other than those modifiable are grayed out and disabled.

Queue Name: Input the queue name consisting of within 25 characters. Queue names can
be made up of single-byte alphanumeric characters, $, @, -, _ and # only. Queue names can
be up to 25 characters in length.

Data Format: The data format can be selected from these types: PS, PDF, and IPDS. The
data format selected here is automatically added as a queue properties tab. If the same
data format is already selected, it is updated.

Priority: You can set a queue priority. Every queue has an assigned priority of processing.
The order of queues that are released is decided on the basis of their priorities. Priorities are
represented as integers ranging from 1 to 100. The lower the value, the higher the priority.
The default is 50.

Comment On Queue: Input the queue explanation within 128 characters. This information
is displayed in the queue list Comment column. Input is arbitrary.

Accept (Input Process): Set whether or not to accept job registration.

Set Accept for a stream job, which cannot be modified.

Process (Output Process): Set whether or not to accept a registered job.

Set Process for a stream job, which cannot be modified.

Deletion of Job after Printing: Set the process after printing the job.

Set Immediately for a stream job.
