Job operation buttons

On the Job Management window, there are buttons which correspond to job status including
cancellation, retention, and release (process start assistance) etc. The following buttons are
displayed in all tabs.

Select All: Selects all jobs in the list. Upon selection of a job, this button changes to
Deselect.

Deselect: Cancels selection. Upon cancellation, this button changes to Select all.

Refresh: Displays the most recent job information

The refresh rate set on the system setting screen of the System Management tab is applied in
the job list. (This is called automatic refresh function.) The automatic refresh function is
disabled automatically upon job selection. Select [Refresh] to enable the automatic refresh
function.

Jobs list

The job list displays the jobs in process. To operate a job, select it from the list or select it after
selecting [Select All], and select the job operation button.

The job list displays the following contents job by job.

Job ID: The ID assigned to each job sent to the printer. The ID is assigned in a range
between 1 and 99,999.

Queue: The job queue name is displayed.

Job Name: The job document name is displayed. The file name received by the client is set
as the job document name.

Imposition File: The imposition file, also known as paper identifier, is used for job printing
is displayed. The paper identifier set for the queue is displayed. For individual setting, select
the job and change the job attribute.

Format: The job data format (PDL) is set.

Status: The job status is displayed. The displayed job status varies with each tab menu
(active/ held/completed/job history).

Reason: Details of job status are displayed.

Number of RIP pages: Displayed when using the extended spool. When not using the
extended spool, 0 is always displayed. When using the simplex printing system, the number
of physical pages with RIP processing are displayed.

When using the duplex printing system, the number of pages with RIP processing on the
upstream and downstream printers are compared and the smaller value is displayed. The
displayed number of RIP pages is twice the number of physical pages for the smaller value.

Number of Pages: The number of printing completed pages per job is displayed.

The maximum number of jobs that can be loaded is 1,000 totaling the number of active, held,
and completed jobs.

Input/output spool capacity: The maximum number of reports in a job is 9,999.
