Bluetooth Communication
Survey Pro can communicate using a wireless Bluetooth connection.
Bluetooth technology uses a short-range radio connection between a
Bluetooth-enabled data collector and a Bluetooth-enabled receiver as
an alternative to a cable serial port connection.
This section explains how to configure Survey Pro to take advantage
of Bluetooth and discusses its limitations.
Configuring the Bluetooth Settings
1. Start Survey Pro for Windows CE and make sure it is set to GPS
mode.
2. Set the

• From the Main Menu in Survey Pro, select -RE | 6HWWLQJV |

• Set Serial Port (GPS Receiver) to %OXHWRRWK and tap 2..
• From the Receiver Communication
screen, tap
6HWWLQJV.
Note: If a Bluetooth connection has not yet been
established, two error messages will appear
when you try to access the above screens. (See
