• The Delta values represent the shift from the TDS

Localization stereographic zone false northing and easting
(100000.0, 100000.0) to the local system (5000.0, 5000.0).

• Tap $FFHSW to apply the solution. You are prompted that this

will update the plane coordinate of all GPS points. Tap

apply the localization solution to all GPS measured points.
Your new autonomous base point’s local coordinates will also
be calculated.

• You are prompted to store this Localization site in the

database. Give the site a name and tap

• Upon exiting the Solve Localization wizard, tap &ORVH on the

Projection information screen to return to the Control Points
screen.

7. Check

points.

• Select Point

and tap

&KHFN. Results should be perfect. In

the field you would expect check points to be within the
measurement precision of your GPS system.

• Tap $FFHSW and review the results on the Results tab.

• Tap &ORVH to return to main menu.

8. Data

Collection

• From the Survey Menu, tap 'DWD &ROOHFWLRQ. Start at point 301

and collect some GPS measurements. You can tap

3RLQW to

measure one point at a time. You can tap

2IIVHW to measure

an offset from a reference point. You can tap

)HDWXUH to

collect many points either automatically by an interval, or
manually.

9. Move the base to a point in the coordinate file measured with

GPS.

• From the Survey Menu, go to %DVH 6HWXS, tap 6HWXS, select

point

• Measured coordinates for Point

are recalled and ready to
