5. Issue the command:
where <software name> is the name of the new software, e.g.
cde_500.bin.
6. Wait for the flash memory load to finish. This normally takes 1 to 4 minutes.
The unit will then automatically restart with the new StorPoint CD software.
7. Log out using the command quit , bye or exit depending on your FTP
version.
Caution!
❏ Be careful not to interrupt the file transfer. If the flash loading fails, the
StorPoint CD will not be accessible from the other protocols such as
Windows (SMB), Web browser (HTTP) etc. However, you can still access
it via FTP in order to carry out the upgrading once again.
