2.

On the switch, remove the configured zones containing MPX200 FC ports and controller ports
of the array.

3.

Wait for up to 30 seconds to see the array in the offline state in the show array command
output, see

“show array” (page 112)

.

4.

If working on a dual-blade setup, repeat the preceding steps for the peer blade. The array
must be offline on both blades before you can remove it.

5.

Remove the array using the array rm command, see

“array” (page 77)

.

NOTE:

Firmware versions 3.2.x and later support both online and offline data migration, whereas

firmware version 3.1.x supports only offline data migration. Migration jobs scheduled using
firmware version 3.2.x and later may get “lost” in firmware 3.1.x, and may require you to configure
them again.

After LUN reconfiguration, you must rescan the array either by right-clicking the appropriate array
in mpx Manager and then selecting the Rescan option, or by issuing the rescan devices
command in the CLI.

Serial scheduling jobs from multiple arrays

If you are using serial scheduling of migration jobs involving multiple arrays, HP recommends that
you schedule serial jobs for SRC-1 on Blade 1 and SRC-2 on Blade 2. If more than two arrays
exist, or if only a single blade is available for serial scheduling jobs from multiple arrays, assign
different priorities to jobs from each array. This method prevents serial scheduling from starting
the next priority job if one array goes offline.
