FORMAT will then need to know:

0) APPLE DISK-II ( 35 TRACKS)
1) RANA ELITE ONE ( 40 TRACKS)
2) RANA ELITE TWO ( 80 TRACKS)
3) RANA ELITE THREE (760 TRACKS)
Since the currently operating copy of DOS has
not been updated, it told FORMAT that the drive
you specified was set as a Disk II. Therefore,
FORMAT will default to a Disk II format. You’ll
need to override this by typing whichever menu
item number is correct for the drive you are
using as your system drive (without <RETURN>).
For example, an Elite One would be:

and the lowly Disk II would be;

Then FORMAT will ask:
