Starting Backup Viewer
Before connecting the Backup Viewer to the storage system, make sure you have set up Microsoft
iSCSI initiator.
1. Go
to
Start, point to Programs, select Backup Viewer, and then click GeoVision Backup
Viewer.
2.
In the Backup Viewer window, click the Connect button on the toolbar. This dialog box
appears.

3. Type
the
IP address of the storage system and initiator Node Name.
4.
If the CHAP authentication is enabled on the storage system, you have to select CHAP
Information option, type User Name and Target Secret (password) created on the storage
system; otherwise you cannot log in the storage system.
5. Click
Connect to start. When the connection is established, the recordings are listed and
displayed.
