If you selected the Automap on Add box in the Scanlist tab (

), RSNetWorx has already mapped the I/O. If it is not mapped,

click Automap to map it. If you need to change the mapping, click
Advanced and change the settings. Click Help for assistance.

2. In the Memory box, select a location in scanner memory.

In our example, we are using a 1756-DNB scanner and selected
Assembly Data.

3. In the Start DWord box, select the word in memory at which the

data should start. In our example, we selected 0. Due to the 32-bit
data used by the 1756-DNB scanner in our example, the Logic
Status and Speed Feedback information are combined in address
1:I.Data[0], where 1 equals the slot number of the scanner.
Therefore, the Logic Status is defined by bits 0-15 (least
significant word), and the Speed Feedback is defined by bits 16-
31 (most significant word).
