Configuration/Programming

Configuration

IB Board DIP Switches

Some of the functionality of the IntelliVAC Plus product is derived from

the settings of the DIP switches on the IB board.

The DIP switch settings are only read once after a power up sequence

occurs. If changes are to be made to the DIP switch inputs, then control

power must be recycled before the changes will take affect.

Altitude

This set of switches defines the altitude, above/below sea level, that

the vacuum contactor will be operating at. The altitude settings

define the operating currents required for the contactor coils with the

required compensation for the varying force on the bellows of the

vacuum contactor bottles due to the changes in atmospheric pressure.

Note:

These altitude settings are used exclusively to determine the

altitude. These settings cannot be set on the IE module but

can only be read from the IB module.
