Time Delay Undervoltage Configuration (TDUV)

This setting controls the amount of time that the contactor maintains

closed on the occurrence of an input line voltage dip.

This setting may be overridden by the DeviceNet parameter TDUV

Hold-Up Time Source See Section TDUV Programmability in

Appendix B for a description.

Power-up Safety

This setting determines how the unit will respond to having a

CLOSE, JOG or TRIP command present during power-up, in the

following manner.

If the Power-up Safety feature is Enabled:
– The unit will ignore the CLOSE or JOG command and generate a

warning condition.

– The unit will respond to a TRIP command and immediately open

the contactor (ML contactor).

– After power-up, if the command is removed the unit will respond

to the reapplication of a CLOSE or JOG command.

If the line voltage goes below the Undervoltage Close (Vin < 95V)

or below the Undervoltage Hold (Vin < 80V) or below the Line

Loss/Power Loss (Vin < 50V), even if the TDUV feature is enabled,

then, once the voltage recovers to > 95V (as long as the electronics

has not completely reset), then the IE/IB will be seen as having gone

through a power-up sequence. In this case the IE/IB will treat the

Power-up Safety feature just as it would when the unit is freshly

powered up from a zero voltage line condition and it will follow the

Power-up safety rules above.

If the Power-up safety feature is Disabled:
– The unit will respond to a CLOSE command and immediately

close the contactor.

– The unit will respond to a TRIP command and immediately open

the contactor (ML contactor).

– The unit will treat a JOG command the same as if the Power-up

safety feature is Enabled.
