Customized Logic Mode:

This mode allows the user to freely create control logic using all

available inputs and outputs associated with the IntelliVAC Plus.

Available Inputs:

The input tags in DeviceLogix are divided into 4 groups:

Hardware Boolean

Status Input

Fault Input

Network Boolean

Hardware Boolean inputs

These are the digital input points associated with the 8 hardware

inputs in the IntelliVAC Plus module. They are labeled “DLX

Input” 1 to input 8 according to the labeling on the external case of

the IntelliVAC Plus.

Status Inputs

The status digital input points represent a variety of parameters

ranging from additional hardware inputs physically located on the

IntelliVAC base modules to bits which represent the connectivity

status of the network. A list of the available status inputs and their

definitions can be found below.

IBX- Aux.

This bit represents the status of the auxiliary feedback of its

associated contactor. Rockwell standard it to connect a normally

closed contactor auxiliary contact to this input. This bit will be “1”

when its associated contactor is open and “0” when its associated

contactor is closed. There may be up to a total of five IBX-Aux,

(ie. IB1-AUX) bits depending on the number of slave contactors

connected to the IntelliVAC Plus module.

IBX-Input1

This bit represents the status of the corresponding “close” input on

the IntelliVAC Base. When an IntelliVAC is used in a multi

contactor system this input does not directly close the contactor but

is simply a generic input into the DeviceLogix engine. For further

information refer to the section detailing LOGICAL MASKS.
