status indicator.

dup_MAC_id to complete, and
correct, as needed.

Device is online and has connections
in the established state.

Flashing
green

Device is online but has no
connections in the established state.

None .

Flashing red

One or more I/O connections are in
the timed-out state.
This could also mean a peer is not
producing data at all, or it is not
configured correctly.

Check I/O connection with
master. Verify peers are present
and configured properly.

Red

Critical link failure - failed
communication device. Device
detected error that prevents it
communicating on the network.

Verify that adapter and terminal
bases are properly installed, and
reinstall, as needed.

Device is in self-test.
