3.1.19 Equipping the rack
In addition to sample vessels, the sample rack can also be equipped with
various Inserts, which can act as receptacles for various utensils.

The inserts shown above are:
￭ 6.2067.000 - Insert for 6.2743.050 sample vessel (11 mL)
￭ 6.2067.040 - Insert for injection needles with Luer connector (maxi-
mum length 50 mm)
￭ 6.2067.020 - Insert for disposable membrane filters with Luer connec-
tor (maximum diameter 30 mm). This insert has a positioning reticle for
adjusting the rack and the robotic arm.
Each insert is provided with a recess that prevents it from being inserted
with the incorrect alignment.
An insert is provided for sample vials which can be fixed in place with a
retaining plate and centering aids for injection needles.
