5.2 Vortec Cooled XDS Process Analytics Instrument
The Vortec cooled instrument has a
Vortec assembly on the right side,
attached to the heat sink. An air
curtain (inside the horizontal housing)
directs the cooling flow over the full
width of the heat sink.
This instrument also has the vent for
the purge system, mounted on top of
the cabinet.

The air curtain blows over the full
width of the heat sink, to provide
maximum cooling capacity.
