THE CUSTOM
DRUMMER
The PSR-3500 Custom Drummer feature
allows you to create three original rhythm
patterns in addition to the
100 preset accom­
paniment styles. Your original rhythm patterns
can be selected and played at any time, just
like the presets.
Creating an Original Rhythm
Pattern
1. Select a Suitable Rhythm
Begin by selecting one of the preset accompa­
niment styles that is close to the rhythm you
want to create.
• For example, select a WALTZ accompaniment
style if you want to program a rhythm pattern in
3/4 time. You cannot program a 3/4 rhythm
when a 4/4 accompaniment style is selected, and
vice versa. The PSR-3500 accompaniment styles
include 4/4, 3/4, 9/8, 5/4 and 12/8 type rhythm
patterns.
2. Engage the Program Mode
Press the CUSTOM DRUMMER PROGRAM
button so that its LED indicator lights. The
select rhythm pattern will begin playing (a
repeating
2 -measure pattern)

Mit der Custom Drummer-Funktion des
PSR-3500 können Sie zusätzlich zu den 100
vorprogrammierten Begleitstilen eigene Rhyth­
men eingeben. Ihre eigenen Rhythmen können
dann jederzeit wie die vorprogrammierten abge­
rufen und wiedergegeben werden.
Programmieren eigener
Rhythmen
1. Einen geigneten Begleitstil wählen.
Wählen Sie zunächst einen vorprogrammierten
Begleitstil, der Ihrem geplanten Rhythmus mög­
lichst ähnlich ist.
• IVenn Sie z. B. einen Rhythmus im 3/4 Takt
eingeben wollen, sollten Sie den WALTZ-Sti!
wählen. Sie können keinen 3/4-Takt program­
mieren, wenn Sie einen Begleitstil im 4/4-Takt als
Ausgangsbasis verwenden und umgekehrt. Die
vorprogrammierten Begleitstile des PSR-3500 sind
im 4/4, 3/4, 9/8, 5/4- und 12/8-Takt.
2. Auf Programmierbetrieb schalten.
Drücken Sie die CUSTOM DRUMMER
PROGRAM-Taste, so daß deren LED-Anzeige
aufleuchtet. Der gewählte Rhythmus beginnt
dann zu spielen.

Création d'un rythme original
1. Sélectionner le style d'accompagne­
ment qui convient
Commencer par sélectionner un style d'ac­
compagnement préprogrammé proche de
l'accompagnement recherché.
• Sélectionner, par exemple, un style d'accom­
pagnement WAL TZ pour créer un pattern ryth­
mique de 3/4 temps. Il est impossible de
programmer un rythme 3/4 lorsqu'un style
d'accompagnement 4/4 a été sélectionné et
vice-versa. Les styles d'accompagnement du
PRS-3500 comprennent des patterns rythmiques
du type 4/4, 3/4, 9/8, 5/4 et 12/8.
2. Activer le mode de programmation
Appuyer sur la touche CUSTOM DRUMMER
PROGRAM de sorte que son témoin à LED
s'allume. Le style d'accompagnement sélec­
tionné commence à jouer deux mesures
répétitivement.

Empiece seleccionando de los estilos de acompa­
ñamiento preajustados, el que esté más cerca al
acompañamiento que quiere crear.
• Por ejemplo, seleccione el estilo de acompañamiento
WALTZ si quiere programar un patrón rítmico en
tiempo de 3/4. No puede programar un ritmo de
3/4 cuando se selecciona un estilo de acompaña­
miento de 4/4, y viceversa. Los estilos de acompaña­
miento del PSR-3500 incluyen patrones rítmicos del
tipo 4/4, 3/4, 9/8, 5/4 y 12/8.
2. Active el modo de programación
Presione el botón CUSTOM DRUMMER
PROGRAM de forma que su indicador LED se
encienda. El estilo de acompañamiento selec­
cionado empezará a reproducirse (2 compases
repetidamente).
