State

Summary

Describes the state of the system.

Availability

Local, full, and lightweight clients.

Description

stateValue

The state of the system. The

enumerated values for this property,

which are stored in the

ConstDeviceStates

constant, are as

follows:
Note: The only two values that may

be written to this property are

lcaStateCnfgOnline(4) and

lcaStateSoftOffline(12). All other

properties are read-only.
2 lcaStateUncnfg
The application is loaded but the

configuration is either not loaded,

being reloaded, or deemed corrupted

due to a configuration checksum

error. A Neuron Chip also can make

itself unconfigured by calling the

Neuron C function

go_unconfigured(). The device's

service LED flashes at a one second

rate in this state.
3 lcaStateNoApplUncnfg
No application is loaded yet, the

application is in the process of being

loaded, or the application has been

deemed corrupted due to an

application checksum error or

signature inconsistency. The

application does not run in this state.

The device's service LED is steadily

on in this state.
4 lcaStateCnfgOnline
Normal device state. The application

is running and the configuration is

considered valid. This is the only

state in which messages addressed to

the application are received. In all

other states, they are discarded. The

device's service LED is off in this

state.
6 lcaStateCnfgOffline
