Directional BTE positioning
Ensure that the left hearing instrument is tested on the left coupler and that the right hearing instrument is tested
on the right coupler. Orient the instrument on the coupler the same as it would be worn on the client's head.
Position the test box reference microphone for each side at the front microphone opening on the instrument.
Other positions may be preferable for some instruments.
