If +34 volts goes below the prescribed level during printing, the printer splits one line of printing into three-pass

printing to limit the number of pin magnets excited at the same time, thus reducing the power load. If low

voltage continues even in three-pass printing, an alarm is generated.

Figure 5.31 shows the print timing and waveforms of the head pin magnet drive current.
