Choke (EXC-R

The choke

b



is fitted on the left side of the carburetor.

Activating the choke function frees an opening through which the engine can draw ex-
tra fuel. This gives a richer fuel-air mixture, which is needed for a cold start.

If the engine is warm, the choke function must be deactivated.

Possible states

Choke function activated

ದbThe choke lever is pulled out to the stop.

Choke function deactivated

ದbThe choke lever is pushed in to the stop.

The flasher switch

is fitted on the left side of the handlebar.
