ದ Place a suitable container under the engine.
ದ Remove engine oil plug screen b  .
ದ Completely drain the engine oil.
ದ Thoroughly clean the plug and gear oil screen.
ದ Clean the sealing area on the engine.
ದ Check parts for damage and wear. Replace damaged or worn parts.
ದ Fit plug b  for the engine oil screen and tighten it.

Removing the oil filter b

Danger of scalding ಘEngine oil and gear oil get very hot when the motocycle is driven.
ದ Wear suitable protective clothing and gloves. If you scald yourself, hold the affected area under cold water immediately.

Environmental hazard ಘProblem materials cause environmental damage.
ದ Dispose of oil, grease, filters, fuel, cleaning substances, brake fluid, batteries, etc. according to regulations.
ದ Place a suitable container under the engine.

ದ Remove screws b  . Remove oil filter cover b  with O-ring.

ದ Pull the oil filter insert b  out of the oil filter casing.
Circlip pliers reverse (51012011000)
ದ Completely drain the engine oil.
ದ Thoroughly clean parts and sealing area.

ದ Check parts for damage and wear. Replace damaged or worn parts.
ದ Lay the motorcycle on its side and fill the oil filter housing to about 1/3 full with
engine oil.
ದ Fill the oil filter b  with engine oil and place it in the oil filter container.
ದ Lubricate the O/ring b  of the oil filter cover.
