Fork offset (EXC-R bSIXbDAYS, XCR-WbUSA)

You can see the currently set offset if you remove screw b  .
The fork offset b has an impact on the handling of the vehicle. It is calculated from
the center of the fork leg to the center of the steering head bearing.
The fork offset can optionally be adjusted.
Marking
b  to the front gives greater stability on fast racetracks.

Front marking 18 bmm (0.71bin)
Marking b  to the rear (condition at delivery) gives better handling in bends.

Setting the fork offset b

ದ Remove the lower triple clamp. ( P. 43)

ದ Remove screw b  . Remove the steering stem.
ದ Clean the parts and check for damage.
ದ Rotate the steering stem 180° and insert into the triple clamp. Mount and tighten
screw

Removing the fork legs
ದ Remove front wheel. ( P. 63)

ದ Remove screws b  and take off clamp.
ದ Remove cable clip b  , remove screw b  and take off the brake caliper.
ದ Hang the brake caliper and the brake line loosely to the side.

ದ Loosen screw b  . Remove the fork leg on the left.
ದ Loosen screw b  . Remove the fork leg on the right.
