ದ Loosen nut b  .
ದ Loosen nuts b  .
ದ Adjust the chain tension by turning the left and right adjusting screws b  .
Specification
Chain tension 8… 10 bmm (0.31… 0.39bin)
Turn the left and right adjusting screws b  so that the markings on the left and
right chain adjusters are in the same position relative to the reference marks b  .
The rear wheel is then correctly aligned.
ದ Tighten nuts b  .
ದ Make sure that chain adjusters b  are fitted correctly on the adjusting screws b  .
ದ Tighten nut b  .
Specification
Nut, rear wheel spindle M20x1,5 80 bNm (59blbfbft)

The wide adjustment range of the chain adjusters (32 mm) enables different
secondary transmissions with the same chain length.
Chain adjusters
b  can be turned by 180°.
ದ Remove the motorcycle from the work stand. ( P. 32)
