Removing the fork protector b

ದ Remove the fork legs. ( P. 41)

ದ Remove screws b  on the left fork leg. Remove the fork protector upwards.
ದ Remove the screws on the right fork leg. Remove the fork protector upwards.

Installing the fork protector b

ದ Check parts for damage and wear. Replace damaged or worn parts.
ದ Position the fork protection on the left fork leg. Mount and tighten screws b  .
Specification
Remaining screws, chassis M6 10 bNm (7.4blbfbft)
ದ Position the fork protection on the right fork leg. Mount and tighten screws.
Specification
Remaining screws, chassis M6 10 bNm (7.4blbfbft)
ದ Install the fork legs. ( P. 42)

Removing the lower triple clamp b

ದ Remove the fork legs. ( P. 41)

ದ Dismount the start number plate. ( P. 47)

ದ Remove the headlight mask with the headlight. ( P. 46)
ದ Dismount the front fender. ( P. 46)

ದ Remove screws b  and hang the CDI control unit to the side.

Do not unplug the CDI control unit.
ದ Remove screw b  . Remove screw b  , take off top triple clamp with the handlebar
and place it on one side.
Info
Protect the motorcycle and its attachments from damage by covering them.
Do not bend the cables and lines.

ದ Remove o-ring b  . Remove protector ring b  .
ದ Remove the lower triple clamp with the steering stem.
ದ Remove the upper steering head bearing.
