Using the Scale Platform
You should routinely check the accuracy of the scale platform
and calibrate the scale, if necessary, to assure that the compres-
sor shuts off when the tank is full.
CALIBRATING THE SCALE
This recovery/recycling/recharging unit features an automatic
calibration mode. You can now automatically calibrate the scale
through the keypad.
1. Press SHIFT/RESET and ENTER on the keypad to access the
diagnostic mode, then press 8-7-8-7. The display will show
“A1.”
Note: If you press any other key before the 8-7-8-7 sequence,
you will not be able to enter the automatic calibration routine.
2. Be sure the scale is empty of all weight (e.g. tank). Press “0”
and then press ENTER on the keypad. The display shows
“0.00” and then changes to the message “A2.”
WARNING!
TO ASSURE ACCURATE CALIBRATION AND TO PREVENT
PERSONAL INJURY, IT IS ABSOLUTELY CRITICAL THAT YOU
KNOW THE EXACT WEIGHT IN THE NEXT STEP.
3. Place a known weight (between 10 and 80 pounds, or 4.5 and
36 kilograms) in the center of the platform. Enter that weight
on the display using the keypad, then press ENTER. The
display returns to the VACUUM mode.
4. Press the SHIFT/RESET key and then press ENTER on the
keypad. Press “6” and the display shows the known weight
on the scale platform.
5. Remove the known weight and the display returns to “0.00.”
If for any reason you have trouble calibrating the scale, contact
the factory for additional assistance.
CHECKING THE SCALE ACCURACY
To ensure continued charging accuracy, check your scale using
these procedures every thirty (30) days or 100 service jobs,
whichever comes first.
1. While in the PROGRAM mode, simultaneously press the
SHIFT/RESET and ENTER keys on the keypad to enter the
diagnostic mode and clear the digital display.
2. Press the “6” key on the keypad to display the approximate
scale platform weight.
3. Remove the tank from the scale platform. The empty platform
weight displayed should range from +2 pounds (+1 kilogram);
if it does not, contact the factory. The “CHECK REFRIGER-
ANT” message will also display.

Sie sollten die Genauigkeit der Waageplattform regelmäßig

KALIBRIERUNG DER WAAGE
Das Rückgewinnungs-Wiederaufbereitungs-Befüllungsgerät
verfügt über einen automatischen Kalibrierungsmodus. Sie
können nun die Waage automatisch über die Tastatur
kalibrieren.
1. Drücken Sie SHIFT/RESET (SCHIEBEN/RÜCKSETZUNG)
und ENTER (EINGABE) auf der Tastatur um auf den
Diagnosemodus zuzugreifen, dann drücken sie 8-7-8-7. Die
Anzeige gibt “A1” an.
Anmerkung: Falls Sie eine andere Taste bevor die 8-7-8-7
Reihenfolge drücken werden Sie nicht auf die automatische
Kalibrierungsroutine zugreifen können.
2. Seien Sie sicher, daß die Waage leer ist (d.h. der Tank).
Drücken Sie “0” und dann ENTER (EINGABE) auf der
Tastatur. Die Anzeige zeigt “0,00” an und dann wechselt auf
die Mitteilung “A2” um.

ABSOLUT KRITISCH, DASS SIE DAS GENAUE GEWICHT IN
DEM NÄCHSTEN SCHRITT WISSEN.
3. Legen Sie ein bekanntes Gewicht (zwischen 10 und 80
Pfund, oder zwischen 4,5 und 36 kilogramm) in die Mitte der
Plattform. Geben Sie dieses Gewicht der Anzeige über die
Tastatur ein, dann drücken Sie ENTER (EINGABE). Die
Anzeige geht in den VAKUUMMODUS zurück.
4. Drücken Sie die SHIFT/RESET (SCHIEBEN/RÜCKSETZUNG)
Taste und dann drücken Sie ENTER (EINGABE) auf der
Tastatur. Drücken Sie “6” und die Anzeige zeigt das bekannte
Gewicht auf der Waageplattform an.
5. Entfernen Sie das bekannte Gewicht und die Anzeige geht zu
“0,00” zurück.
Falls Sie aus irgendeinem Grund Schwierigkeiten mit dem
Kalibrieren der Waage haben, richten Sie sich an die Fabrik für
zusätzliche Hilfe.
ÜBERPRÜFUNG DER WAAGEGENAUIGKEIT
Um durchgehende Befüllungsgenauigkeit zu versichern,
überprüfen Sie Ihre Waage alle dreißig (30) Tage oder nach 100
Servicearbeiten, was immer zuerst kommt.
1. Während Sie im PROGRAM (PROGRAMM) Modus sind
drücken Sie gleichzeitig die SHIFT/RESET (SCHIEBEN/
RÜCKSETZUNG) Taste und die ENTER (EINGABE) Taste auf
der Tastatur um auf den Diagnosemodus zuzugreifen und die
Digitalanzeige zu freizugeben.
2. Drücken sie die “6” Taste auf der Tastatur um das ungefähre
Gewicht der Waageplattform anzuzeigen.
3. Entfernen Sie den Tank von der Waageplattform. Das leere
Plattformgewicht sollte sich in der Gegend von +2 Pfund (+1
kilogramm) befinden; falls dieses nicht der Fall ist, richten Sie
sich an die Fabrik. Die “CHECK REFRIGERANT”
(ÜBERPRÜFEN SIE DAS KÄLTEMITTEL) Mitteilung sollte
auch aufleuchten.
